As a CEO or company officer you work every day to improve your business. Too often the urgent drives out the important. Opportunities are missed. The world is full of people willing to offer advice and counseling. Our involvement in your business becomes a personal commitment to help with your business. We can help.
The Technology Business Group principals, Barry White and Tim Comerford, bring seasoned, successful business management from startups to high-tech to multinational businesses. Our experience has taught us how create business plans that banks and investors will fund. We know what they are looking for and they want you to understand and present the information they need.
We can help you create and implement a cost-effective national or local marketing program including social media. There are government funding and contract opportunities largely overlooked by technology businesses. We can help you grow your business with government funding.
During 25 years in leadership positions with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service – including the Executive Secretariat for the AAFES Board of Directors at the Pentagon and General Manager at Fort Leonard Wood – Barry White experienced nearly all aspects of government contracts and funding. From 2006 – 2011 he applied this experience to help small businesses as Director of the Small Business Technology Development Center at Missouri S&T as a Certified Technology Commercialization Counselor.
After a career in sales, marketing, product development, and senior management in the instrumentation industry, Tim Comerford formed a consulting business in Cincinnati to assist manufacturers of technical products, with particular emphasis on commercialization of government funded Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) projects. In Rolla, as Business Director for the Center for Aerospace Manufacturing Technologies (CAMT) at Missouri S&T from 2005 to 2010, he nurtured relationships with regional small businesses involved in Government grant funding for ongoing research.
